In this episode our co-hosts Sara Hammad, PharmD (US Transplant Associate Medical Director) and Tracy Chen, PharmD (US Transplant Senior MSL) have a conversation with Sumit Mohan, MD, MPH, a Professor of Medicine and Epidemiology at the Columbia University Medical Center, about disparities seen throughout the kidney transplant process. Dr. Mohan discusses the challenges seen with health disparities at all time points from a patient’s journey through kidney transplantation, and ways we could potentially overcome these disparities as a kidney transplant community.
