Dr. Ferdinand identifies key barriers that physicians and other healthcare providers encounter when building trust with patients, especially among racial and ethnic minority populations and other marginalized communities. We conclude the episode with concrete actions and resources our listeners can use to enhance trust and begin to narrow the gap on healthcare disparities.
